Resetting the Table Fellowship at UW Madison

This series will provide an opportunity for students to experience listening and being heard across deep differences of ideology and background, and to develop the skills needed to create conversational spaces of stability within their own contexts. We will create a class environment  in which we can see our differences more clearly, and build a framework in which we can have non-toxic conversations which get to the heart of the issues at hand. Our focus will be on issues that have been divisive and painful for the Jewish community in North America and at Wisconsin: the role of American Jews in discussions of Israel/Palestine, manifestations of anti-Semitism on the right and on the left, and the charged nature of political conversations on college campuses.
