Brooklyn College, Hillel G-Board, Roots of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, 1915-1949

Student leaders at Brooklyn College will explore the birth of both Jewish and Palestinian national aspirations and their divergent experiences of Israel’s founding, taught in a dual narratives approach. Participants will discuss the ways historical narratives shaped past peace negotiations, how they live on today, and how mutual recognition for these narratives might help pave a path forward. RTT’s educational classes are uniquely non-directive and multi-vocal, empowering participants to try on multiple perspectives and relate to the material on their own terms.

This event is part of Resettting the Table’s year-long New York Campus Program and organized by RTT student interns and Hillel staff partners at Brooklyn College.
