Eric Goldberg is a Managing Director at EJF Capital, LLC, an alternative asset management firm based in Arlington, VA, where he specializes in investing in financial services companies. Before joining EJF Capital in 2017, he worked for 9 years at a New York-based hedge fund where he also served as a director of two of the fund’s portfolio companies. Originally from the D.C. area, Eric moved to New York to attend New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he received a B.S. in Finance and International Business and a minor in East Asian Studies. At NYU, Eric was active with Jewish life on campus, particularly in his role as co-President of the NYU Hillel. Eric has continued to stay engaged in Jewish life as a Board member of the NYU Hillel, through the Shapiro Fellowship at UJA, and as an observer on the board of UJA's Israeli Civil Society committee.
