Cindy Goldstein serves as the Executive Director of the Darrell Friedman Institute for Professional Development (DFI), now a part of the Center for Leadership, a program of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore. She has been with DFI working to empower professionals serving the Jewish community for 21 years. Cindy serves on the board of JPRO Network, the national organization for Jewish communal professionals to connect and grow their careers. Cindy previously served as the Executive Director of the Connecticut Valley Region of United Synagogue (USCJ). After graduating from JTS and Columbia with a dual Master’s in Jewish Studies and Social Work, Cindy began her career in the Federation world and then gravitated to the JCC for a few years to coordinate volunteers and facilitate groups for senior adults. In her spare time, she enjoys her activity in Hadassah, traveling with her family, reading, attending symphony concerts and theater.
