Aimee Segal is a former journalist turned communications strategist, who works at a Washington, DC Museum as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Programming. She leads a team that develops live and digital programming for audiences in the Museum and communities across the U.S. Aimee’s team also develops strategic partnerships to foster conversational spaces that lead to thoughtful dialogue and learning. Aimee previously worked for the Washington, DC-based communications firm, developing national and global advocacy campaigns on a range of social justice issues to expand opportunities for women, children and families. In guiding CEOs and coalitions, she worked for organizations including: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Center for International Reproductive Health Training at the University of Michigan, Corporation for National and Community Service, the White House Council for Community Solutions, March for Women Lives, UNFPA, and Ploughshares Fund.
