Rabbi Esther Azar LMSW is a trauma researcher and healer, working to develop trauma-informed practice for the Jewish world. Her many years as a teacher, play therapist and coach inform her new endeavor, Trauma-Informed Rabbinics. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, Esther works within systems to transform relationships and bring healing to the leadership and the larger community. Her work allows organizations to bridge the gap between their values and the outcomes they seek in the world. In addition Esther is a master educator who has taught and developed curricula for multiple institutions in the Jewish world including Temple Emanuel's Streicker Center, Romemu and Shaare Zedek in NYC. She is a published writer, visual artist, speaker, coach and mother of two amazing children.
