Joshua Avedon

Greater LA Cohort

Joshua Avedon is the co-founder and CEO of Jumpstart Labs (jumpstartlabs.org) a global research and design laboratory for creative philanthropy and social change. He works with both emerging and established changemakers to develop the knowledge and connections necessary to realize their visions. Certified as a family philanthropy advisor/trainer (21/64, 2013), facilitator (Center for Leadership Initiatives, 2009), and executive coach (International Coach Federation, 2016), he is a recognized expert in supporting innovators and institutional leaders alike to navigate through strategic thinking and tactical implementation of new programs and projects. He, his wife Stephanie, their three children Elias, Navi, and Sarit (and miracle dog Oogie) live in the house where he grew up in Venice, California.
