Greater DC Cohort
Jennifer is the Washington, DC Manager for the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where she oversees all program development, management and administration in the greater Washington, D.C. area. She is also a skilled Jewish educator focusing on Hebrew Literary approaches to the Bible. Jennifer previously served as the JCRC Director of the Israel Action Center, working to heal rifts across political, generational and geographic divides by offering conflict-resolution training, Israel-diaspora leadership encounters, and high school and adult educational programming. Before joining the JCRC, she served as the Business and Community Development Manager for the Maryland/Israel Development Center where she advised Israeli and Maryland companies in order to foster bilateral economic development. She also previously worked for the Government of Israel's Economic Mission in Houston, Texas and the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC. Jennifer has organized and led numerous diverse delegations to Israel, including Harvard graduate students from 25 different countries and business professionals from the DC/Maryland area. She received her B.A. from Columbia University in psychology and political science, and her Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She is passionate about building bridges and creating dialogue across divides in the Jewish community.
